From the beginning of January, the public employment and business services of the current TE Office will be part of BusinessAsema’s services.

At BusinessAsema, work and workers meet in an environment that conveniently offers options for developing both personal skills and business operations. The service desk at BusinessAsema will guide you to the service you need. New entrepreneurs are supported by the Enterprise Agency of Oulu and Startup Station. International customers are served by International House Oulu.

BusinessAsema offers many services that facilitate everyday life and employment, as well as business development services that can be used without an appointment. You can find the opening hours of pop-up services on the services page. Advice is available on career matters, job searching, and starting or developing a business. Housing advice and financial counseling are also available without an appointment. There are several services for non-Finnish speakers, ranging from integration and permit matters to education and employment.

A Meeting Place for the Startup Community

Startup Station, aimed at early-stage startup companies, brings together new businesses, early-stage growth companies, experts, incubator programs, and ecosystem partners, along with shared events and training sessions.

Startup Express Pre-incubator Program

Startup Express is a hundred-day pre-incubator program that includes ten training sessions. The program welcomes anyone interested in startup entrepreneurship, whether you have your own business idea in mind or are excited to join a new team. The training sessions consist of lectures, expert talks, and individual or team-specific mentoring, providing participants with essential support in the early steps of startup entrepreneurship through concrete tools.

BusinessAsema FabLab

FabLab’s high technology is available to all

FabLab is a digital fabrication workshop and prototype laboratory where you can make almost anything. In FabLab you can find a laser and vinyl cutters, 3D printers, milling and sewing machines, for example. FabLab is open to all, free of charge.

FabLab is currently closed and our operations are on hold. We are preparing to move to new premises, which we will tell you more about later. Remember to follow our website to stay up to date!
